Stainless steel fabrication in SS304 and SS316 — railings, balustrades, gates, frames, counters and architectural elements for residential, commercial and industrial sites in Singapore.
Stainless steel works are a major part of our scope because of Singapore's humid, coastal climate. We fabricate from austenitic SS304 for general indoor / sheltered use and SS316 for marine, pool-side or chemically-exposed environments. Mechanical polishing (#4 satin, mirror polish) and electropolishing are coordinated through partner workshops.
SS304 covers most indoor and sheltered outdoor scopes. SS316 adds 2–3% molybdenum and is preferred for coastal exposure, swimming pool surrounds, kitchen splash zones and any specification that calls for marine grade. Cost difference is typically 25–40%.
Common finishes include mill (2B), brushed (#4 satin) and mirror (#8). Brushed finish is the default for handrails because it hides scratches; mirror finish is used where appearance is critical and traffic is light.
Frameless glass balustrades use clamp or channel fixings; semi-frameless designs use stainless top rails with glass panels. Glass thickness, post spacing and fixing capacity should be verified against the design loading by the project Professional Engineer.
